Until now I’ve been going maskless and just telling them that I have exemption. They now won’t let you in even if you claim exemption. I have resorted to wearing a bandanna to get in. It is amazing how often that bandanna falls down below my chin. That and I can breathe completely easy with it on. I think I could do a set of weights with it on but not cardio.
“I need to make some adjustments” is the first line I use. Then I ask them
“Even the pro-mask side says bandannas are useless so why did city council make them legal?”
“If the situation was as bad as they say, why would they let something 100% useless be allowed?”
They usually walk away at that point.
