Rick Nicholls is the sitting MPP for Chatham-Kent-Leamington in his third term in the 42nd Parliament of Ontario. The Ford government booted him from the party when he refused to comply with the illegal jab or no job policy. As a member of the newly formed political party campaigning for seats in the upcoming June election, Rick shares some of the Ontario Party’s platform, objectives and ideologies which includes course correcting the province’s woke leftist trajectory that it’s headed for and protecting Ontarians from the Globalists’ plan to rule the world.

On Truth…

[In addressing supporting Bill 67] It was an unintentional error on my part. And I have a saying when you mess up, you fess up. It caught me flat-footed. I was looking for certain wording. It wasn’t there. There was a lot more to it because what was missing in that Bill was what about anti-white? If you’re white and you’re a Christian, you are a racist and by the way, you were born a racist. What do you mean I was born a racist?? Oh no, that’s in your DNA. That’s how bad that Bill was.

On Transparency…

Parents need to have a choice because sometimes they say what choice do I have… I can’t afford to send my child off to a private school or a school of faith, because that costs a lot of money because they don’t get funding from the government. It’s only the public education and the Catholic boards, they get it, nobody else. And I thought, okay, we’ve got to change…so we came up with a plan and here’s the plan. If a parent is not happy with the curriculum that their son or daughter is going to be exposed to in the public-school system, then we will give them a voucher, an education voucher. In Ontario it costs about $12,500 for the government to have a child educated. That’s a lot of money. You want to send them say to a school of faith? We will give you a percentage of the cost that was going to be designated for that child in the regular school. This is a win-win. The government, our government if elected, is saving the taxpayer money and the schools don’t get it. How long do you think it would take for the schools to smarten up?

On Toughness…

I was about to give up on politics. Until suddenly I found my voice. I was hearing, because of people like yourself allowing me to be on your podcast, I was getting calls, emails from people, “Don’t quit, Rick. You are our voice.” So, I allowed my conscience to be my guide. I said “I can’t walk away from these people.” As easy as it would have been for me to walk away and say Doug Ford just did me an injustice, I’m not going to run again. To me, that’s running away from the problem. And I can’t do that.

Never give up. Within our DNA, we’re fighters. Despite the fact that the government’s trying to knock us down. I have a saying, “We can never count you a loser if you get up just one more time.”
